Associate P&C actuarial pricing role supporting Insurance Programs in North America. Role is Associate-level based in Philadelphia, PA (company also hires in NYC, Princeton, Chicago).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Provide pricing and rating support for Insurance Programs (P&C specialty lines)
  • Prepare rates, ultimate loss projections and trend studies
  • Support DOI state filing process and actuarial filing documentation
  • Use PowerBI for ratemaking and data analysis; R/Python/SAS preferred
  • Associate-level role requiring 3+ years’ pricing experience and 4+ CAS exams

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • insurance/reinsurance actuarial pricing
  • rate filing and DOI regulatory support
  • ultimate loss projection and trend analysis
  • exposure adjustments and loss development techniques

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, economics or related field
  • Passed at least four (4) Casualty Actuarial Society exams
  • At least three (3) years of insurance/reinsurance actuarial pricing experience
  • Proficient in MS Office and PowerBI for ratemaking and analysis
  • Ability to apply exposure adjustments, trend and loss development techniques
