Life actuarial manager role (Associate Actuary Level 3) focused on valuation, product design and assumption studies for life and annuity products. You'll lead small teams, manage studies on mortality, persistency and reserves, and support pricing/product implementation. Hybrid role based in Baltimore (also Cedar Rapids or Philadelphia).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead design, pricing, and implementation for life and annuity products
- Manage studies on sales, persistency, mortality/morbidity and reserve adequacy
- Supervise a small actuarial team and present analyses to management
- Hybrid role; office in Baltimore, Cedar Rapids, or Philadelphia
- FSA preferred (ASA accepted with additional experience); degree required

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA required (ASA acceptable with additional experience)
- Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or related
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience (Master’s +4yr or FSA+5yr routes)
- Experience with mortality/morbidity, persistency, and reserve analyses
- Hybrid work in Baltimore, Cedar Rapids, or Philadelphia; occasional travel
