Life actuarial manager role (Associate Actuary Level 3) focused on valuation, product design and assumption studies for life and annuity products. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead design, pricing, and implementation for life and annuity products
  • Manage studies on sales, persistency, mortality/morbidity and reserve adequacy
  • Supervise a small actuarial team and present analyses to management
  • Hybrid role; office in Baltimore, Cedar Rapids, or Philadelphia
  • FSA preferred (ASA accepted with additional experience); degree required

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • mortality or morbidity analysis
  • persistency analysis
  • reserve adequacy and valuation
  • actuarial product development/pricing support

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • FSA required (ASA acceptable with additional experience)
  • Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or related
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience (Master’s +4yr or FSA+5yr routes)
  • Experience with mortality/morbidity, persistency, and reserve analyses
  • Hybrid work in Baltimore, Cedar Rapids, or Philadelphia; occasional travel
