JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Design and price traditional life insurance products
  • Lead Group Benefits MLR and large-client plan performance reporting
  • Develop assumptions and prepare state filings for life products
  • Use actuarial projection software (Prophet or AXIS) and Excel/VBA/C++
  • Hybrid role – office in Houston, Woodland Hills, or Jersey City

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Traditional life insurance pricing
  • Group benefits MLR reporting (PPACA)
  • Assumption development and state filings
  • Actuarial projection software (Prophet or AXIS)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance or related
  • Proficient in actuarial pricing projection software, ideally Prophet or AXIS
  • Strong Excel skills and programming experience (VBA, C++)
