HIGHLIGHTS

Associate-level Life valuation role supporting quarter-end US GAAP valuation for Pacific Life. You will work with the Life Prophet model, analyze quarterly reserve movements, and own a subset of the GAAP balance sheet. On-site role (4 days/week) with positions in Newport Beach, CA; Omaha, NE; or Toronto, Canada.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Support quarter-end GAAP valuation using the Life Prophet model
Analyze and communicate quarterly reserve movements for the GAAP balance sheet
Perform model regressions and attributions with Model Development teams
Maintain process documentation, controls, and model risk management
On-site role: 4 days per week in Newport Beach, Omaha, or Toronto

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

GAAP valuation / GAAP reserving
Experience with the Life Prophet model
Familiarity with US GAAP reporting requirements

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math, finance, or related field
ASA designation or near-designation
Familiarity with US GAAP reporting and requirements
Experience with Prophet and familiarity with Python
Strong analytical and communication skills
