Associate Actuary in Life Valuation supporting statutory valuation and financial reporting for life products (Universal, Indexed, Variable UL). You will lead projects to redesign valuation tools and support complex valuation work including reinsurance and new product features. Role is associate-level, hybrid (3 days/week) based in Radnor, PA with alternate office locations across the US.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support statutory valuation for Universal, Indexed, Variable and combo life products
- Lead cross-functional projects to redesign valuation tools and processes
- Provide specialist valuation input on reinsurance and new product features
- Hybrid role – 3 days per week in a Lincoln office (Radnor, PA; alternate US locations)
- Ideal for an ASA (7+ exams) with 3+ years life valuation experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Statutory life valuation experience
- Valuation work on Universal and Variable Universal Life products
- Experience with reinsurance-related valuation projects
- Financial reporting and reserving processes
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree in a quantitative major (required)
- 3+ years of relevant life valuation experience
- At least 7 actuarial exams passed (typically ASA)
- Strong understanding of income statements, balance sheets and projections
