JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Associate actuary focused on life valuation special projects (UL/IUL/VUL/Traditional Life)
Analyze empirical data and produce quantitative forecasts for reserving and hedging
Work with reinsurance, COI rate changes, and policyholder behavior analysis
Hybrid office environment in Cedar Rapids, IA with occasional travel (<10%)
FSA or ASA designation required; AXIS proficiency preferred

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

UL experience including ULSG and COI rate increases
IUL/VUL reserving and hedging
Reinsurance (3rd party and captive arrangements)
Traditional life policyholder behavior analysis

KEY REQUIREMENTS

FSA or ASA (ASA acceptable with 8 years' experience) required
Bachelor's degree + 5 years' relevant experience (or Master's +4 years)
Proficient modeller; AXIS proficiency preferred
Proven experience analyzing large datasets and quantitative forecasting
Strong verbal and written communication to senior management
