Associate P&C actuarial pricing role in Munich Re Specialty’s Wholesale & Specialty Insurance team, based onsite in Hartford, Connecticut, with other US locations considered. You’ll support specialty product launches, pricing tools, portfolio monitoring, actuarial analyses, and underwriting decisions. The role suits a CAS-track actuary with at least four years of insurance pricing experience.
Requirements
Must have
- 4+ years of insurance pricing experience
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Progress toward CAS membership via actuarial exams
- Strong understanding of actuarial concepts: exposure adjustments, trend, loss development, exposure rating
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with R, Python, SAS, or other statistical software
Nice to have
- Preference for commercial or specialty insurance experience
