Client-facing healthcare consulting

Closer to client-facing consulting than a modelling-heavy IC role—the differentiator is owning relationships and recommendations, not building models in isolation.

Senior Health consulting actuary role, remote in the Mountain time zone and headquartered in Denver, Colorado. You’ll lead public and private healthcare engagements spanning pricing, reserves, forecasting, regulatory review, and financial decision support, with direct client ownership and responsibility for guiding analysts and actuaries.

Requirements

Must have

  • ASA and MAAA
  • 5-10 years of healthcare actuarial consulting experience

Strongly preferred

  • Strong consulting judgment and ownership
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with state insurance department regulatory rate review for ACA individual/small group
  • Experience with self-funded multi-employer trust plans
  • Knowledge of 1332 Waiver programs
  • Experience performing GASB 75 actuarial valuations
