JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop end-to-end mortality models and assumption frameworks for longevity markets
- Support pricing with data-driven insights and bespoke assumptions
- Use R or Python plus SQL/Snowflake to analyze very large datasets
- Hybrid role at RGA HQ in St. Louis, MO or open to remote
- Requires an FSA and 6+ years actuarial experience in life/reinsurance/pensions
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- mortality and longevity assumption development
- life insurance / reinsurance / pension risk transfer experience
- statistical modeling for insurance (regression, trees, time series)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA accreditation or equivalent required
- 6+ years actuarial experience in life insurance, reinsurance, or pension risk transfer
- 2+ years on-the-job statistical modeling experience for insurance
- Proficiency in R or Python and SQL (Snowflake/Oracle) and Excel/VBA
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline required
