HIGHLIGHTS

Associate Director, Health actuarial role supporting Medicare ACO (ACO REACH, MSSP) modeling and performance forecasting. You will build and maintain predictive models, analyze large claims datasets, and present recommendations to provider organizations and senior leaders. Senior individual contributor with people leadership (mentors 1–2 analysts), fully remote within the U.S. (with local in-office requirements for some areas).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead development of actuarial models forecasting Medicare ACO performance (ACO REACH, MSSP)
  • Analyze and manipulate large healthcare claims datasets using SQL and Excel
  • Translate technical results into recommendations for provider organizations and senior leaders
  • Mentor and review work of a small team (1–2 analysts)
  • Fully remote within the U.S.; local hires in Minneapolis/DC require 4 days/week in office

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • 5+ years of actuarial experience with healthcare analytics and modeling

  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills for senior stakeholder engagement
