Senior Health actuarial leader (Associate Director) to own and evolve enterprise dynamic pricing and benefit relativity platforms. You will ensure actuarial integrity of pricing engines (ARC), lead production releases and UAT, and partner with Product, Underwriting, Engineering, and Actuarial Pricing. Remote within the U.S. (preferences for Cypress, CA or Minnetonka, MN) and requires ASA or FSA plus deep health pricing expertise.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own Actuarial Relativity Calculator (ARC) and benefit relativity pricing logic
- Lead production Dynamic Pricing releases, UAT, and stabilization efforts
- Partner with Product, Underwriting, Engineering, and platform teams
- Hands-on with Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, Python, R, GitHub and VS Code
- Remote role in the U.S.; senior level requiring ASA or FSA and 5+ years
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Health insurance pricing and benefit design mathematics
- Owning or reviewing pricing models used in production
- Translating plan design into cost relativities and behavioral impact
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ASA or FSA designation required
- 5+ years of actuarial work experience
- Proven foundation in health insurance pricing and benefit design math
- Experience owning or critically reviewing pricing models in production
- Hands-on experience with modern data and analytics tools (SQL, Python, Snowflake)
