Director-level life & annuity actuarial systems role leading a team that implements and supports policy administration and illustration systems. You’ll own product implementation, testing, training, and operations for life insurance and annuity products in a hybrid role based in Montpelier, VT. Strong leadership, deep product mechanics knowledge, and technical aptitude (SQL/Alteryx/Excel) are required.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead a team of actuarial systems analysts for life and annuity products
- Own policy administration and illustration system design and implementation
- Develop test tools, plans, and validate product rates and values
- Hybrid role – in office four days per week (Mon–Thu)
- Director-level people leader with performance management responsibility
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Life and annuity product mechanics
- Policy administration and illustration systems
- Interpretation of policy forms and insurance regulations
- Advanced Excel for actuarial calculations
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 11 years’ related experience (or 8 with advanced degree)
- Demonstrated expertise in life and annuity product mechanics
- Experience with Policy Administration and/or Illustration Systems
- Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
