You will deliver US GAAP and local statutory financial forecasts, model economic balance sheets and solvency, and support strategic transaction analysis. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead financial planning and forecasting for a Bermuda captive legal entity
- Produce standardized analytical packages under US GAAP and local Statutory views
- Model economic balance sheet, solvency, and macro-economic sensitivities
- Support strategic transaction analysis and decision-making for senior leadership
- Hybrid role in Houston hub; full remote considered for candidates outside hubs
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Financial planning and forecasting in insurance
- U.S. GAAP, US statutory and Bermuda statutory accounting
- Modeling economic balance sheet and solvency requirements
- Scenario and sensitivity analysis of macro-economic factors
- Statutory financial forecasts for rating agency and regulatory needs
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years financial planning/forecasting experience in the insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, US statutory and Bermuda statutory accounting
- Experience modeling economic balance sheets, solvency and scenario analysis
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred; ASA or FSA preferred
- Experience working in a large, complex, and dynamic organization
