JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop pricing strategies for large Financial Products (FinPro) accounts
- Deliver quarterly profitability reviews and portfolio steering insights
- Enhance rating models using R, Python or SQL and internal data assets
- Partner with underwriters to provide technical pricing and portfolio support
- Hybrid role — expectation to be in office at least three days per week in Kansas City, MO
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C insurance or related financial services
- Portfolio profitability analysis and costing models
- Actuarial reserving and/or pricing techniques
- Understanding of Financial Products lines of business
- Tool development for actuarial applications
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing actuarial qualifications with demonstrated progress
- Experience in P&C insurance or related financial services
- Strong programming skills in R, Python, or SQL
- Familiarity with actuarial reserving and/or pricing techniques
- Experience with portfolio profitability analysis and costing models
