HIGHLIGHTS

Associate-level P&C product analyst supporting commercial trucking and specialty transportation in Greenville, SC. You will analyze rating variables, prepare monthly reports, assist with rate and rule filings, and partner with underwriting and actuarial on pricing recommendations. The role focuses on pricing/rating analytics and interdepartmental reporting.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Analyze state-level rating variables and propose pricing adjustments
  • Prepare monthly reports and present findings to interdepartmental management
  • Assist with rate and rule filings and coordinate DOI/SERFF activities
  • Work closely with Actuarial, Underwriting, Finance, IT, and Claims
  • Use SQL, R, Cognos and Power BI for reporting and analysis

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Rate and rule filing support (SERFF, DOI interactions)
  • State-level rating variable analysis and pricing support
  • Interdepartmental data validation and reporting

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Mathematics, Economics, Risk, Insurance or Business preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced computer/spreadsheet skills required
  • Ability to prepare clear recurring and ad-hoc analyses for management
