HIGHLIGHTS

Associate-level valuation role on a Life team supporting annuity and life blocks. You will calculate US Statutory, Tax, and US GAAP reserves, analyze reserve movements and earnings, and support SOX controls and financial reporting. The role is based in Boston, MA or Hartford, CT with a 4-days-per-week in-office policy.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Calculate US Statutory, Tax, and US GAAP reserves for life and annuity blocks
Produce reserve movement, sensitivity, and earnings analysis for quarterly results
Maintain SOX controls and support audit and regulatory requests
Work with modeling, IT, and data teams on valuation system transformation
Based in Boston, MA or Hartford, CT — 4 days per week in office

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Annuities valuation experience
US Statutory and US GAAP reserving
Reserve movement and sensitivity analysis
Financial reporting and quarterly earnings analysis
SOX control maintenance and audit support

KEY REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of actuarial experience
FSA designation, near-FSA, or career ASA expected
Experience with US Statutory and US GAAP reserving and financial reporting
Authorized to work in the U.S.; company cannot sponsor visas
