AVP-level P&C actuarial pricing role supporting Arch's Entertainment Business Unit in New York. You will lead a team to deliver pricing recommendations, profitability reviews, large-account pricing, monitoring and actuarial studies across Auto, GL, Property, Inland Marine, Workers' Comp and Umbrella. The role combines hands-on modelling and tool building with leadership and partnership across underwriting and finance.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead actuarial pricing for the Entertainment Business Unit across multiple P&C lines
- Provide premium recommendations for large new and renewal accounts
- Design, program and maintain pricing and monitoring tools using Python/SQL/VBA
- Manage and mentor a team of actuaries and present to senior business leaders
- Based in New York; position is incentive eligible with a disclosed salary range
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C actuarial pricing and profitability analysis
- Pricing across Auto, GL, Property and Workers Compensation
- Large account pricing and renewals
- Portfolio monitoring and rate adequacy analysis
- Leadership of actuarial teams
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ACAS or FCAS (or similarly qualified) required
- 8+ years of relevant P&C actuarial experience
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL and VBA
- Proven experience in large-account pricing and portfolio profitability analysis
