AVP, Actuarial Pricing (P&C) supporting Arch's Entertainment Business Unit in Hartford, CT. You will lead a pricing actuarial team across Auto, GL, Property, Inland Marine, Workers' Comp and Umbrella, delivering premium recommendations, portfolio profitability reviews, monitoring and pricing tool development. Senior leader role requiring strong programming (Python/SQL/VBA) and ACAS/FCAS credentials.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead a P&C pricing actuarial team supporting the Entertainment Business Unit
- Provide premium recommendations for large new and renewal accounts
- Conduct profitability reviews across Auto, GL, Property, Inland Marine, Workers' Comp
- Design, program, and maintain pricing and monitoring tools using Python/SQL/VBA
- Hartford, CT office; AVP level with presentation exposure to senior leaders
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C pricing and portfolio profitability analysis
- Large account pricing and renewal experience
- Experience with Auto, General Liability, Property, or Workers Comp
- Building pricing/monitoring tools and analytics
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of relevant P&C actuarial experience
- ACAS, FCAS, or similarly qualified professional required
- Proven leadership managing and developing actuarial staff
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and VBA
- Experience with large-account pricing and portfolio monitoring
