Senior P&C actuarial pricing leader supporting Arch's Entertainment Business Unit in Chicago. You will lead a team to deliver pricing recommendations for Auto, GL, Property, Inland Marine, Workers' Comp and Umbrella, build pricing tools, and monitor portfolio performance. The role requires strong technical skills (Python/SQL/VBA), leadership, and P&C credentials (ACAS/FCAS).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead actuarial pricing for the Entertainment Business Unit in Chicago
- Provide premium recommendations for large new and renewal accounts
- Build and maintain pricing tools using Python, SQL and VBA
- Monitor portfolio rate change, pricing adequacy and underwriting mix
- Manage and develop a team of actuarial professionals
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C actuarial pricing and analysis
- Large account pricing and renewals
- Portfolio profitability and segmentation analysis
- Pricing tool development using Python, SQL, VBA
- Experience leading actuarial teams
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of relevant P&C actuarial experience
- ACAS or FCAS (P&C actuarial qualification) required
- Proven leadership managing actuarial teams
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL and VBA
- Experience with large-account pricing and portfolio analysis
