You will lead pricing, forecasting, reserving, and financial reporting across Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial lines, partner with finance and regulators, and manage an actuarial team. This role requires an ASA or FSA with MAAA membership and 10+ years of actuarial experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing, forecasting, reserving, and financial performance analysis for health business
- Focus on Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial health lines
- Manage and develop actuarial teams and implement actuarial best practices
- Work closely with finance, regulators (e.g., CMS), and executive leadership
- Flexible remote work environment; Excel and actuarial modeling tools required
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Healthcare actuarial experience with Medicaid and Medicare Advantage
- Pricing, forecasting, reserving, and financial reporting expertise
- Experience interacting with regulators such as CMS and state agencies
- Proven leadership managing and developing actuarial teams
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of actuarial experience with 5+ years in leadership
- Healthcare actuarial experience (Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, commercial)
- ASA or FSA and MAAA membership required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and actuarial modeling tools
