JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead quarterly GAAP and statutory valuation and financial reporting
  • Manage and mentor a team of actuarial associates in valuation
  • Maintain and enhance Prophet 360 models for life and annuity products
  • Drive assumption setting, experience studies, and model governance
  • Fully in-office role in downtown Kansas City, MO

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Valuation and financial reporting under GAAP and Statutory frameworks
  • Experience with Prophet 360 or comparable actuarial modeling software
  • Assumption setting and experience studies for life and annuity products
  • Leadership of actuarial valuation teams and quarter-end processes

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
  • 8–15 years of actuarial experience in valuation or financial reporting
  • Management or team leadership experience in actuarial valuation
  • Hands-on experience with Prophet 360 (or comparable tools)
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and Statutory valuation frameworks, including LDTI
