Senior Life actuarial leadership role in Principal Financial Group’s Benefits & Protection Financial Reporting team in Des Moines, Iowa. You’ll oversee financial reporting, reserve valuation, projections, capital management, ALM, and financial modeling for group benefits, while leading a 19-person Specialty Benefits Finance team.

Requirements

Must have

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, presentation, and communication skills
  • No immigration sponsorship required

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 15 years related experience
  • Ability to apply generalist skills such as strategic and long range visionary thinking
  • Strong background and knowledge in financial and budgetary matters
  • FSA and MAAA designations

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of group benefit products
