Senior P&C actuarial role supporting Chubb's Personal Risk Services in Whitehouse Station, NJ. You’ll lead pricing and rate implementation for Homeowners and other personal lines, manage a team, and partner with Product, Data Sciences, and regulatory/state filings. AVP-level responsibility with ACAS required and hands-on work in Radar/modern rating platforms, Excel and SQL/R/Python.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing and rating plan development for personal lines (Homeowners, Auto, Umbrella)
- Supervise a team of five actuarial analysts
- Oversee RADAR Live rating plan implementation and governance
- Produce state-level Homeowners rate indications and support filings
- Based in Whitehouse Station, NJ; ACAS required (FCAS preferred)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Property/casualty actuarial experience
- Personal lines ratemaking experience
- Homeowners pricing and rating plan development
- State-level rate indications and filings experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 7 years property/casualty actuarial experience
- ACAS designation required (FCAS preferred)
- Experience with personal lines ratemaking, Homeowners preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and a data language (SQL, R, or Python)
- Supervisory experience (managing a team) and strong project management
