Closer to a people-leadership role than a capital strategy specialist because managing and training actuarial and analytics staff is an explicit requirement.
AVP-level P&C actuarial leadership role in Management Liability, covering EPLI, Crime, and D&O, with locations in Cheshire, CT; Naperville or Rolling Meadows, IL; and Raleigh, NC. You will lead pricing, reserving, rate filings, capital allocation, planning, and strategic support while partnering with underwriting, claims, IT, and senior management. The role requires 10+ years of experience and offers a hybrid Monday-Wednesday office schedule with Thursday-Friday remote work.
Requirements
Must have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience
- Solid background in P&C commercial insurance and Management Liability forms/rules
- Experience providing on-the-job training and managing direct reports
- Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
