Senior life actuarial leadership role in Product R&D supporting retail life insurance and annuity offerings. You will lead a team to own R&D strategy, feasibility, pricing, hedging, ALM and reinsurance for new annuity and life product features. Role is hybrid (four days in office) and hiring in Newport Beach, CA; Omaha, NE; or Charlotte, NC.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead Product R&D for retail life and annuity solutions
- Own R&D strategy, feasibility, pricing, hedging and capital optimization
- Manage annuity ideation and competitor/market intelligence
- Lead and develop a team of six in the Consumer Markets Division
- Hybrid role — four days in office; relocation assistance available
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Life insurance and annuity product development
- Annuity design, pricing, hedging and risk management
- Reinsurance structuring and capital optimization
- ALM and capital strategy for new business
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA designation required
- 10+ years in life insurance and annuity product development
- Proven experience in annuity design, pricing, hedging and reinsurance
- Demonstrated people leadership and team development experience
- Experience with ALM, capital strategy and new-business capital optimization
