Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior life reinsurance pricing role on SCOR's Financial Solutions team in Charlotte, NC. You will own AXIS/Prophet pricing models, set assumptions for term and permanent life products, and evaluate reinsurance structures and capital/cash-flow tradeoffs. This AVP-level role requires deep life (re)insurance pricing experience and an FSA.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Price life Financial Solutions deals (ULSG, IUL, VUL, term) for reinsurance transactions
Build, calibrate and validate AXIS and FIS Prophet pricing models
Set and defend assumptions on mortality, persistency, guarantees and sales mix
Evaluate reinsurance structures (coinsurance, modco, guaranteed YRT) and capital impacts
Hybrid role in Charlotte, NC — 3 days in office, 2 days remote; relocation assistance available

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Life (re)insurance pricing of term and permanent products
Modeling ULSG, IUL, VUL from first principles
Experience building and running AXIS or FIS Prophet models
Knowledge of US statutory accounting including PBR
Experience evaluating coinsurance, modco and YRT reinsurance structures

KEY REQUIREMENTS

7+ years of life (re)insurance pricing experience
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) with current CPD compliance
Hands-on AXIS and/or FIS Prophet pricing modelling experience
Working knowledge of US statutory accounting, including PBR
Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
