JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead pricing and product development for life and annuity products
  • Manage and develop a large, diverse actuarial team in the US Pricing organization
  • Balance marketing objectives, profitability, and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with second-line risk oversight and specialized actuarial teams
  • Hybrid role based in Boston, MA

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Life insurance actuarial experience
  • Life insurance pricing or product development
  • US statutory valuation and regulatory experience
  • Investment and hedging concepts for indexed products

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
  • 8+ years of actuarial experience in the Life Insurance industry
  • 2+ years of life insurance pricing or product development experience
  • In-depth knowledge of US statutory valuation and regulatory environment
  • Experience with actuarial modeling software (Moody’s AXIS preferred)
