JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead reserving, NAIC SAO processes, and loss analytics for middle market and specialty portfolios
- Co-lead M&A integration efforts for the Reserving & Loss Analytics function
- Build models and advanced analytics; ensure data quality and reporting rigor
- Hybrid role based in St. Paul, MN (Arch indicates #LI-HYBRID)
- Senior role (AVP) requiring strong people leadership and executive presentation skills
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- reserving and loss analytics
- NAIC Statement of Actuarial Opinion / regulatory interaction
- managing a sophisticated reserving team at insurer or reinsurer
- commercial and specialty lines reserving
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years in progressively senior P&C actuarial roles
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in reserving or loss analytics functions
- Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society or strong ACAS candidate
- Proven experience leading and developing reserving teams at insurer/reinsurer
- Expert SQL and Excel skills
