You will lead reserving and loss analytics for middle market divisions, support NAIC Statement of Actuarial Opinion and regulatory reporting, and drive analytic solutions across underwriting, claims and finance.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead reserving and loss analytics for Middle Market business divisions
- Co-lead M&A integration efforts for the Corporate Actuarial function
- Support NAIC Statement of Actuarial Opinion and statutory reporting
- Hands-on building of reserving models and analytic solutions using SQL/Python
- Hybrid role based in St. Paul, MN; incentive eligible
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Property and casualty reserving
- Loss analytics for commercial and specialty lines
- Reinsurance reserving experience
- Regulatory NAIC Statement of Actuarial Opinion interaction
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years in P&C actuarial roles
- Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society preferred (ACAS considered)
- 5+ years in a reserving or loss analytics function
- Expert SQL and Excel; experience with Snowflake and Power BI preferred
- Proven experience leading and developing actuarial/reserving teams
