Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior P&C actuarial reserving leader responsible for Corporate Actuarial Reserving & Loss Analytics for the Programs book in Saint Paul, MN. You will own reserving, NAIC SOA processes, SOX compliance, US GAAP/statutory reporting, and lead cross-functional analytics with underwriting, pricing, claims and finance. The role requires strong technical modeling, regulatory communication, and people leadership (AVP/Director level).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Own reserving and loss analytics for the Programs book (Auto, GL, Prop, WC)
Lead NAIC SOA, regulatory communication, external/internal audit and SOX processes
Build and enhance reserving models and advanced analytics; ensure data quality
Partner with underwriting, pricing, claims and finance to identify trends
AVP/Director-level role requiring ACAS/FCAS and proven actuarial team leadership

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Progressive actuarial experience in property and casualty insurance
At least 5 years in a Reserving function
Experience with NAIC Statement of Actuarial Opinion processes
Knowledge of US GAAP and Statutory reporting and SOX compliance
Presenting reserving results to executive management and auditors

KEY REQUIREMENTS

10+ years of P&C actuarial experience
5+ years of experience in a Reserving function
Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS or FCAS)
Expert SQL and Excel skills; Power BI, Snowflake and Python preferred
Proven experience leading actuarial teams and presenting to executive leadership
