Closer to capital and risk strategy than a conventional pricing-underwriting partner—the work spans bespoke balance-sheet solutions and market strategy.

Senior Life reinsurance pricing and capital solutions leadership role in Hamilton County, Ohio. You will lead pricing for bespoke financial reinsurance transactions, assess risk and capital needs, support deal structuring, and join client discussions across global markets. The role requires a qualified actuary with at least five years of post-qualification experience and prior team management.

Requirements

Must have

Qualified actuary with a minimum of 5 years post qualified experience

Strongly preferred

Strong technical and problem-solving skills with ability to work with wide range of data sets
Experience within a FinRe / Structured Solutions team
Experience managing a team including building culture, coaching, developing, and recruiting
Excellent communication skills to explain concepts to stakeholders and collaborate
Ability to work independently in a flexible dynamic team with occasional high-pressure deadlines
Pricing experience in the European and/or Asian markets

Nice to have

Strong understanding of capital, financial accounting, balance sheets and regulatory frameworks
