Role Summary

Role type

Pricing partner to underwriting

Closer to a pricing-underwriting partnership than a modelling-heavy IC role—the deciding factor is applying models to live specialty business and stakeholder decisions.

Director-level P&C specialty pricing role with Ledgebrook’s Product & Data team, fully remote across the US. You’ll develop predictive and traditional actuarial pricing solutions for professional liability, cyber, and excess liability, while partnering with underwriting, claims, finance, and data engineering.

Requirements

Must have

  • Authorized to work in the United States or Canada without employer-sponsored work authorization

Strongly preferred

  • Strategic mindset and strong actuarial pricing/insurance modeling experience
  • Credentialed actuary or background in statistics with professional liability pricing experience
  • Proficient in Excel and SQL
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Collaborative team player with strong culture fit

Nice to have

  • E&S experience a plus
