JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead US GAAP, US statutory and tax reserve reporting for the Variable Annuity block
- Perform cash flow testing, RBC stress testing, EV and strategic plan projections
- Manage and develop a high-performing VA financial reporting team
- Hybrid role based in Nashville, TN office
- Requires ASA or FSA with 7+ years life & annuity actuarial experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Variable annuity valuation and financial reporting
- Life and annuity actuarial experience
- US Statutory and US GAAP accounting for variable annuities
- Cash flow testing and RBC stress testing experience
- Proven ownership of financial reporting deliverables and process improvement
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree required (quantitative fields preferred)
- Fellow or Associate of the Society of Actuaries (FSA or ASA)
- 7+ years actuarial experience in Life & Annuity with 3+ years VA valuation/reporting
- Proficient knowledge of US Statutory and US GAAP frameworks for VAs
