JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Build financial models and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Perform IBNR reserve analysis, stop-loss sensitivity, and renewal projections
- Support carrier negotiations and the sales process with consulting teams
- Use Excel, Power Query, Power BI and VBA for reporting and analysis
- Hybrid role based in Warrington, PA; less than 10% travel
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Employee benefits consulting or medical carrier experience
- Group insurance marketplace and alternative funding knowledge
- IBNR reserve analysis and stop-loss sensitivity analysis
- Renewal projection and trend analysis for medical/dental/vision
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 1–3 years experience with an employee benefits consultant, broker, or carrier
- Strong knowledge of group insurance marketplace and funding methods
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power Query/Power BI, and VBA
- Experience with IBNR reserve analysis and stop-loss financial modeling
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Finance, or related preferred
