JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Deliver reinsurance pricing, reserving, and advisory analytics for clients
- Present analyses to brokers, clients, and reinsurance markets
- Develop and refine actuarial tools used by the analytics team
- Preferred hybrid locations: New York City and Minneapolis; remote considered
- Suitable for 2–15 years’ actuarial experience across multiple levels
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Reinsurance pricing (cedant, reinsurer, or broker perspective)
- Transactional pricing for loss-rated business
- Actuarial consulting for loss reserve and prospective funding analysis
- Presenting actuarial analysis to internal or external clients
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years (up to 15 years) of actuarial experience
- Experience across pricing, reserving, and reinsurance disciplines
- Experience working with client data and delivering actuarial analysis
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Technical knowledge of SQL, R, or Python
