As an Actuarial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing support to the lead actuary, with a goal of growing into the lead actuary role. This will involve data cleansing, actuarial modeling, and supporting client relationships (both internal and external). You must also be willing to continue to learn new things, both through internal networking and through external/industry research as needed. You should have an aptitude for problem solving, attention to detail, and the capacity to juggle multiple projects at once.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establishes credibility with clients and colleagues.
  • Simplify complex message by highlighting and summarizing key points. Leverage multiple sources of information including client views to assist in developing solutions and recommendations.
  • Delivers on commitments to clients and colleagues, meets both internal and client deadlines.
  • Pass at least one actuarial exam per year toward attaining required credentials.
  • Works effectively with colleagues, supports collaboration
  • Communicates with team members in a constructive manner, regularly provides unsolicited feedback.
  • Dedicated to continuous improvement and growth by harnessing feedback to develop self-awareness, personal strength, and address areas for development.
  • Is compliant internal Aon business requirements, such as time tracking.
  • Acts with integrity always and works every day in a way that positively impacts our clients, colleagues and communities.


Tasks:
  • Support analytical work including data management, loss forecasting, accruals, self-insurance analysis and cash flow analysis.
  • Collect, organize and analyze data, in support of existing brokerage business and proposal development.
  • Prepare and maintain effective documentation of all client correspondence.
  • Maintain effective relationships with Aon teams and clients.
  • Facilitate data collection.
  • Apply existing approaches and processes to specific client assignments, alerting AGRC service team to deficiencies in data, results or processes.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of overall assignment results by improving specific operational procedures.
  • Execute routine client service tasks efficiently, delivering products and services, accurately and on time.
  • Handle various changing work assignments, so as to support client team workload.
  • Maintain frequent interaction with project supervisor.


Education/Experience:
  • BS Degree or equivalent in finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science, risk management, or equivalent.
  • Have one exam completed.
  • 2 years of full time actuarial experience
  • Commitment towards the completion of the Actuarial exam program.


Skills:
  • Familiar with Microsoft software (Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
  • Good communication skills, both oral and in writing.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Close attention to detail.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is [$65,000-$94,000] annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
