Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior P&C analytics role focused on catastrophe exposure and claims predictability in commercial lines. You'll build accumulation tools, run CAT exposure/AAL estimates with industry models (RMS/AIR), and develop claims indicators using data mining and predictive modelling. Onsite position in York, PA (also supported in Berwyn, PA).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Develop CAT accumulation tools and exposure visualizations for property portfolios
Model and validate US natural catastrophe exposures, AAL and PML using RMS/AIR
Build claims reporting and predictive models using text mining and data scraping
Train underwriting, claims, and actuarial teams on CAT modeling and exposure monitoring
Onsite role in York, PA (also supports Berwyn, PA)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Property and casualty commercial lines analytics
Catastrophe modelling (AAL, PML, accumulation) and RMS/AIR experience
Building insurance reporting and exposure monitoring tools
Claims analytics including text mining and data scraping
Validating reinsurance cost allocations and exposure assessments

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in quantitative or related field required
Minimum 5 years' P&C commercial lines experience in analytics/actuarial/claims/IT
Working knowledge of catastrophe modelling concepts and RMS/AIR
Proven experience building insurance reporting and monitoring tools
Advanced proficiency with Excel and Power BI
