JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Provide project management for Medicaid managed care capitation calculations and rate implementation
- Coordinate workgroups with vendors, monitor contracted actuary deliverables and project risks
- Prepare reports and presentations for HHSC leadership, legislative staff, and external stakeholders
- PMP certification required (or must be obtained within one year); Bachelor's degree required
- Hybrid role — telework eligible but required in office Thursday and Friday each week
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Medicaid managed care capitation rate development
- Managed care financing and federal guidance analysis
- Coordinating actuarial vendors and contracted actuaries
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or similar (required)
