You will oversee valuation, projections, ALM, experience studies, assumption setting, pricing oversight and capital management for the IR line. Reports to the Chief Actuary and partners closely with IR CFO/CEO and business leaders.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Executive leader overseeing actuarial activity for Individual Retirement
- Own valuation, experience studies, ALM, pricing oversight and forecasting
- Report directly to the Chief Actuary and partner with IR CFO/CEO
- Based in Jersey City, NJ hub (hybrid policy); remote candidates may be considered
- Requires FSA and MAAA with 15+ years of actuarial experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- individual retirement valuation and forecasting
- experience studies and actuarial assumption development
- asset-liability management and cash flow testing
- capital management and stress testing
- pricing oversight and value of new business calculation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 15+ years of progressively responsible actuarial experience
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and member of the AAA (MAAA)
- Undergraduate degree required
- Deep experience in valuation, ALM, capital management and experience studies
- Proven leadership working with senior management and cross-functional teams
