  • Knowledge of state insurance laws and regulations

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree (four years of college) with coursework in calculus/probability/statistics
  • Minimum 5 years of professional actuarial experience
  • Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (ASA or FSA) required
  • Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) required
  • Experience in health actuarial work, including Medicare supplement and LTC
