  • Lead ACA rate review and oversight of health insurance products
  • Provide solvency oversight for health insurers, HMOs, MEWAs and related entities
  • Supervise and direct actuarial and data science staff
  • Hybrid role up to 50% telework; primary work location St. Paul (Golden Rule Building)
  • Requires ASA credential and 5+ years of strategic leadership experience

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Affordable Care Act (ACA) rate review
  • Health insurer solvency oversight and regulation
  • Technical calculations for Medicaid surcharge collections

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) credential (passed at least six exams)
  • Minimum 5 years of strategic, high-level management and leadership experience
  • Substantial knowledge of the health insurance industry and ACA plans
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software
  • Experience in rate review and health insurer regulatory matters
