JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead reserving for a $5B legacy run-off portfolio
  • Perform quarterly reserving studies and roll-forward analyses
  • Translate claim emergence into reserve and capital impact
  • Support pricing for LPTs/retros and liability acceleration strategies
  • Hybrid role based in Warren, NJ (additional US locations listed)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • P&C insurance or reinsurance reserving
  • Run-off and legacy reserving experience
  • Analysis of P&C claims trends and emergence
  • Support pricing for LPTs/retros and liability strategies

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of actuarial experience
  • ACAS or FCAS designation required
  • Expertise in P&C or reinsurance reserving, run-off a plus
  • Technical skills: Excel, VBA, SQL and Python
  • Strong communication and stakeholder influencing skills
