JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead claims analytics and deliver insights to inform underwriting and reserving
- Build data pipelines and embed analytics into business processes
- Work with Underwriting, Claims, Reserving and Data teams
- Hands-on with SQL, R, Python and Power BI plus Excel/VBA
- Manager-level role requiring an actuarial qualification (FIA/FCAS or equivalent)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial experience in insurance industry
- Reserving experience beneficial
- Understanding of reinsurance
- Lloyd's market knowledge desirable
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Mathematics or related field
- Actuarial qualification required – FIA, FCAS or equivalent
- Actuarial experience in the insurance industry
- Competent user of Excel, VBA, SQL, R and Python; Power BI experience
