Paid 10-week Health actuarial internship in Utica, New York, for undergraduate or graduate students. Interns support Medicare Advantage pricing, rate and bid filings, trend analysis, reserving, risk adjustment, and financial projections while working with mentors and attending development workshops.

Requirements

Must have

High school diploma and proof of continuous full-time college enrollment
Must be in good academic standing
Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required
Ability to work while sitting/standing at a workstation for 3+ hours

Strongly preferred

Pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or Statistics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region
Self-motivated and able to work independently and in teams
