Remote Retirement role administering DB/DC combo plans for a book of small clients. You’ll manage full-cycle administration, prepare annual valuation packages and compliance filings, and work closely with in-house actuaries. Associate-level role (3–5 years) based in the US, fully remote.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Full-cycle administration of small DB/DC combo retirement plans
- Prepare valuation packages, funding notices, IRS Forms 5500, PBGC filings
- Perform nondiscrimination testing and projections for contributions/distributions
- Fully remote role; work with in-house actuaries and client contacts
- Ideal for candidates with 3–5 years TPA or retirement plan administration
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- DB and DC retirement plan administration
- Valuation and trust accounting/asset reconciliation
- Nondiscrimination testing (410(b), 401(a)(4), 401(a)(26), gateway testing)
- Knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations and filings
- Experience with plan design and updating plan provisions
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of DB and DC retirement plan administration experience
- Proven ability with valuations, trust accounting, and asset reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of IRS and DOL regulations and filings
- Experience performing nondiscrimination testing (410(b), 401(a)(4), etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
