DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Commercial health insurance underwriting (not Medicare, Medicaid, or ACA)
  • Interpreting and analysing underlying claims experience for groups
  • Working with clinical data and analytics to identify catastrophic vs chronic cases
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams and brokers in competitive situations

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional actuarial credentials required (e.g., ASA or FSA)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial health insurance underwriting
  • Experience interpreting underlying claims experience for groups
  • Able to work closely with sales teams in competitive situations
  • Must reside in the United States in the EST or CST time zone
