Senior retirement actuarial consultant role in Fidelity's Workplace Consulting Group in Greenwood Village, CO. You will lead annual pension valuations, advise CFOs/HR on retirement and benefit programs, and support plan terminations, M&A, compliance, and plan design. The role is client-facing, requires pension consulting experience, and is generally hybrid based in a Fidelity office.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead annual pension valuations and related projects (terminations, M&A, compliance)
- Advise CFOs and HR on retirement and benefit program design and regulatory matters
- Train and develop associates and analysts within the consulting team
- Participate in RFP/RFI responses and new business meetings
- Hybrid role; Fidelity expects onsite work every other week in office
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Pension and benefit consulting experience
- Annual pension valuations and plan terminations
- Plan design, amendments and compliance work
- Knowledge of ERISA/PPA/IRS/DOL/PBGC/FAS
- Experience with M&A-related pension work
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ASA, FSA, or Enrolled Actuary (E.A.) credential required
- 5+ years of pension and/or benefit consulting firm experience
- Knowledgeable in ERISA/PPA/IRS/DOL/PBGC/FAS regulatory and accounting rules
- Proven client leadership and ability to manage client budgets and deadlines
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
