Closer to client-facing consulting than a modelling-heavy IC role—the breadth of external projects and relationship work outweighs depth in one model.

Senior P&C consulting actuary role, fully remote across the U.S. The FCAS hire will advise public- and private-sector clients across pricing, ratemaking, reserving, regulatory filings, financial examinations, predictive models, and litigation support.

Requirements

Must have

FCAS designation
10+ years of actuarial experience

Strongly preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Natural curiosity and initiative to solve complex actuarial problems
Strong Excel and Microsoft Word skills
Solid understanding of statistical concepts, GLMs, and general statistical modeling

Nice to have

Understanding of P&C insurance regulations and the regulatory process
Experience reviewing and/or preparing rate filings for product launches, revisions, rating plans, etc.
Experience across multiple lines of business and actuarial disciplines (ratemaking, reserving, etc.)
Interest in business development and building client relationships
