JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Consulting actuary for individual life and annuities (pricing, valuation, ALM, M&A)
  • Perform cash flow testing, asset adequacy, and experience studies
  • Work with MG-ALFA and Integrate plus Excel, VBA and SAS
  • In-person in Chicago office on a weekly basis (flexible arrangements considered)
  • Requires FSA and minimum 7 years of actuarial experience

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Individual life and annuity product modeling
  • MG-ALFA and Integrate platform experience
  • Asset adequacy analysis and cash flow testing
  • Statutory and GAAP valuation model development
  • Actuarial due diligence for M&A transactions

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • FSA designation with the Society of Actuaries
  • Minimum of 7 years of full-time actuarial experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or similar quantitative field
  • Proficiency in Excel, VBA, and SAS
  • Experience with MG-ALFA and Integrate platform implementations
